Pomaria, SC

Newberry County Council on Aging in a coordinated effort with Senior Resources, Inc. will provide any senior citizen (60+) or a caregiver picking up a meal for a senior citizen, five free meals per week, at a first come, first serve basis.  There are specific requirements that must be met to receive free meal services from the Emergency Senior Nutrition Program.  To receive the meal pack, you must reside in that county.  All meal recipients must show a state issued id and provide a name, address and phone number at pick-up.  If you a caregiver and you are picking up a meal for a senior citizen, please have their ID with you.  Only two meal packs are allowed per car (10 individual meals).  Individuals are only permitted one pick-up per week.  Please note that once all meals for that site have been distributed, the site will close for the day.
